The wastegate ratings in this table describe the actuator configuration supplied with each turbocharger. How to Read the Compressor-Wheel Measurements

Compressor-wheel measurements are commonly listed as inducer diameter, exducer diameter, and—when applicable—extended-tip diameter. Those numbers are useful, but one measurement by itself does not determine how much air a compressor can move or how it will behave on the engine. Blade count, blade shape, hub design, extended-tip geometry, compressor housing, inlet design, shaft speed, pressure ratio, and the turbine driving the compressor all affect the useful operating range.

SPOOLOGIC SL-100-007 Stock Plus Turbocharger

The SPOOLOGIC SL-100-007 Stock Plus GTP38 Turbocharger is designed for owners who want a meaningful but conservative step above a standard stock replacement. Its 60/80/84mm 5+5 billet aluminum compressor wheel uses an extended-tip design to increase airflow capability while retaining the factory-style GTP38 turbine and approximately 22 PSI wastegate actuator. This keeps the turbo responsive for everyday driving, towing, and work-truck use without moving into the more demanding Stage 1 or Stage 2 combinations.

The Stock Plus also changes the exhaust-side supporting hardware. It includes a non-EBPV pedestal, non-EBPV outlet plate, and EBPV terminator. Choose the SL-100-006 Stock Turbo If You Want Factory-Style Operation

Choose the SL-100-007 Stock Plus If You Want the Best Mild Upgrade

Select Stock Plus when the truck is stock or mildly modified and the goal is a responsive billet-wheel upgrade without moving into a 30 PSI actuator, mandatory boost-fooler hardware, or a larger performance-turbo build. It is especially well matched to daily drivers and tow trucks that benefit from a mild airflow improvement but still spend most of their time in the operating range where the factory-style turbine responds quickly. The owner must also be comfortable deleting the factory EBPV system.

Choose the SL-100-008 Stage 1 If the Truck Is Tuned and Needs More Compressor Airflow
