5+5 Cast Compressor Wheel — SPOOLOGIC SL-220-001

The SL-100-006 uses the SPOOLOGIC SL-220-001 5+5 cast aluminum compressor wheel. Its five full-length main blades and five splitter blades provide a mild improvement in airflow efficiency and help reduce compressor surge compared with the original-style 9-blade cast compressor wheel while maintaining the stock operating characteristics expected from a replacement GTP38. This is a stock-replacement compressor configuration and is not intended as a horsepower upgrade.

Turbine Wheel & Internal Wastegate

The factory-style GTP38 turbine wheel and internally wastegated turbine housing are matched to the 60/80mm compressor wheel for stock-replacement operation. A factory-style SPOOLOGIC wastegate actuator maintains the original internal wastegate arrangement and is set at approximately 22 PSI, preserving the responsive and predictable boost-control characteristics expected from the factory-style GTP38 configuration.

Factory-Style EBPV Configuration

The SL-100-006 retains the factory exhaust back-pressure valve configuration for customers who want a complete stock-style replacement. The included SPOOLOGIC EBPV turbo pedestal and EBPV outlet plate maintain the original exhaust back-pressure valve arrangement and provide a direct replacement for the corresponding factory components.

1-Year Limited Warranty

Every SPOOLOGIC turbocharger is covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Warranty coverage requires that the unit first be shipped back to SPOOLOGIC for inspection. If SPOOLOGIC determines the failure was caused by a defect in materials or workmanship, the turbocharger will be repaired or replaced at SPOOLOGIC’s discretion. Warranty does not cover damage from foreign object debris, oil starvation, contaminated oil, extended oil change intervals, over-boosting, over-fueling, operation beyond the turbocharger’s intended operating range, improper installation, use outside the listed fitment, cosmetic wear, coating discoloration, or normal heat cycling marks. Warranty does not cover labor, shipping, towing, downtime, or any other costs outside the turbocharger itself.
