The SPOOLOGIC SL-100-022 is a brand new, direct drop-in factory replacement GT3782VA variable-geometry turbocharger (VGT) for 2005-2007 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks, 2005-2010 Ford E-350, E-450, and E-550 Econoline vans, and 2005 Ford Excursions with the 6.0L Powerstroke. Unlike a rebuilt or reman’d core, every SL-100-022 ships with a brand new unison ring and vane assembly — the exact wear point that causes most 6.0L VGTs to stick, surge, or throw a code — so you’re not paying full price for a turbo that’s already halfway back to failure.

Compressor Wheel

The SL-100-022 uses the SPOOLOGIC SL-220-011 7+7 cast compressor wheel — factory-spec geometry for the late-revision 6.0L GT3782VA, with a smaller 56mm inducer than the early casting, matched to the factory turbine and housing for stock boost response and stock power output.

VGT Turbine Assembly

The GT3782VA uses a Variable Geometry Turbine (VGT) — an electronically-actuated sliding vane ring on the hot side that adjusts how much exhaust flow hits the turbine wheel, giving strong low-end response at idle and light throttle while still flowing enough exhaust at higher RPM. The electronic actuator that drives the sliding nozzle is a common failure point on high-mileage 6.0L turbos, and the unison ring and vanes underneath it are the actual wear surface — both ship brand new on the SL-100-022, not reused or reman’d. The turbine wheel is factory-spec for the late 6.0L revision, matched to the compressor and vane geometry.

Every SPOOLOGIC turbocharger is covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Warranty coverage requires that the unit first be shipped back to SPOOLOGIC for inspection. If SPOOLOGIC determines the failure was caused by a defect in materials or workmanship, the turbocharger will be repaired or replaced at SPOOLOGIC’s discretion. Warranty does not cover damage from foreign object debris, oil starvation, contaminated oil, extended oil change intervals, over-boosting, over-fueling, improper installation, use outside the listed fitment, cosmetic wear, coating discoloration, or normal heat cycling marks. Warranty does not cover labor, shipping, towing, downtime, or any other costs outside the turbocharger itself.
