The SPOOLOGIC Turbo Heat Shield (SL-390-001) is a direct-replacement heat shield for the factory Garrett GT3782VA / GT3788VA turbocharger on 2003-2007 6.0L Ford Powerstroke trucks, vans, and Excursions. Restores proper thermal protection over the turbo housing and exhaust outlet.

Why Replace a Missing or Damaged Heat Shield

The factory turbo heat shield protects nearby wiring, hoses, and the intake manifold from the extreme radiant heat of the turbocharger housing. When the shield is missing, cracked, or removed during turbo service, surrounding components are exposed to direct heat soak that accelerates failure of harnesses, glow plug connectors, and intake gaskets.

1-Year Limited Warranty

Every SPOOLOGIC turbo heat shield is covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Warranty coverage requires that the heat shield first be shipped back to SPOOLOGIC for inspection. If SPOOLOGIC determines the failure was caused by a defect in materials or workmanship, the heat shield will be repaired or replaced at SPOOLOGIC's discretion. Warranty does not cover damage from improper install, bent or deformed mounting tabs, over-torqued fasteners, physical damage from contact with the turbo housing during install, surface discoloration from normal heat cycling, or corrosion from road salt. Warranty does not cover labor, shipping, towing, downtime, or any other costs outside the heat shield itself.
