The SPOOLOGIC SL-100-033 is a brand new Stock Plus upgrade for the large rear-mounted low pressure (LP) atmospheric turbo on 2008-2010 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks with the 6.4L Powerstroke V2S compound twin-turbo system. Built around the SPOOLOGIC SL-220-022 7+7 billet extended-tip compressor wheel in place of the factory cast wheel, it’s a mild performance step up from a factory or worn LP unit, in a direct bolt-in package.

When paired with a healthy factory HP turbo, expect roughly 20-30 RWHP and 10-15 lb-ft of torque over a stock or worn factory LP turbo alone. Best results come from pairing the LP upgrade with the matching Stock Plus HP SL-100-032 so both compressors are billet-upgraded. 6.4L V2S Compound Twin-Turbo System — How It Works

The 6.4L Powerstroke runs a sequential V2S compound twin-turbo system — the most complex factory turbo setup Ford ever put on a diesel. A small front-mounted high pressure (HP) variable-geometry turbo spools first for off-idle response, feeding compressed air into the inlet of this larger rear-mounted low pressure (LP) atmospheric turbo — the unit this SKU upgrades — as boost builds. At higher RPM and load, the HP turbine backs off and the LP turbo takes over the bulk of the airflow duty. A billet LP compressor moves more of that air without touching the HP side.

SL-220-022 7+7 Billet Compressor Wheel

The SL-100-033 is built with the SPOOLOGIC SL-220-022 7+7 billet extended-tip compressor wheel and the SL-240-007 low pressure turbine shaft. The 5-axis CNC-machined forged billet aluminum wheel keeps the proven 7+7 OE base geometry with 96mm extended exducer tips for measurably better airflow, quicker spool, and cooler EGTs on the atmospheric side — without changing the bolt pattern, housings, or plumbing.

1-Year Limited Warranty

Every SPOOLOGIC turbocharger is covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Warranty coverage requires that the unit first be shipped back to SPOOLOGIC for inspection. If SPOOLOGIC determines the failure was caused by a defect in materials or workmanship, the turbocharger will be repaired or replaced at SPOOLOGIC’s discretion. Warranty does not cover damage from foreign object debris, oil starvation, contaminated oil, extended oil change intervals, over-boosting, over-fueling, tuning beyond the turbo’s rated operating range, improper installation, use outside the listed fitment, cosmetic wear, coating discoloration, or normal heat cycling marks. Warranty does not cover labor, shipping, towing, downtime, or any other costs outside the turbocharger itself.
