SPOOLOGIC Stage 1 Performance Turbocharger

The SPOOLOGIC SL-100-056 is a brand-new, direct-fit Stage 1 performance turbocharger for 2004.5–2010 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD 3500/3500HD pickup trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax LLY, LBZ, or LMM. It also fits 2006–2010 Chevrolet Express 2500 3500 and GMC Savana 2500 3500 vans with the 6.6L Duramax LLY or LMM, and 2009–2010 Express 4500 and Savana 4500 cutaway models with the 6.6L Duramax LMM. It combines a 63.5/88/94 mm 11-blade billet compressor wheel, a 72.5/66.4 mm 10-blade turbine, new VGT unison ring and vanes, and ceramic-coated hot-side components. Designed for daily-driven and towing builds with appropriate fueling and supporting modifications, it provides additional airflow capacity while retaining the Garrett-style variable-geometry mounting arrangement. It is designed to support approximately 600–625 rear-wheel horsepower with proper tuning, fueling, and supporting modifications.

Tuning and Supporting Modifications

⚠️ Custom Tuning Highly Recommended: Custom tuning is highly recommended to match the Stage 1 turbocharger to the engine and supporting components. This turbocharger can operate on the factory calibration; a matched custom tune helps use its added airflow capability.

Supporting Modifications: Upgrade components as needed to support your intended power level.

• Larger injectors and fuel-system upgrades may be needed to reach the listed power range.
• Intake and intercooler upgrades may be needed to reach the listed power range.
• Adequate exhaust flow and leak-free up-pipes.
• Boost and exhaust-gas-temperature monitoring during setup and loaded operation.

SPOOLOGIC does not provide custom tuning services. Customers are responsible for arranging application-appropriate tuning with a qualified tuning provider.

Bearings, Seals, and Balancing

The SL-100-056 is assembled with upgraded internal components designed to support shaft stability, oil control, and consistent rotating-assembly operation.

VGT Control System

The VGT control solenoid uses engine oil pressure to adjust the turbine vanes. A new unison ring, vane assembly, and separate turbocharger vane position sensor are preinstalled.

Use the supplied SL-600-036 sensor adapter on 2004.5–2005 LLY applications where required.

Coatings and Finish Options

The turbine housing and center-section exterior are ceramic coated to help manage radiant heat and resist oxidation. Heat reduction varies with operating conditions. The finish options below apply only to the compressor housing.

1-Year Limited Warranty

Every SPOOLOGIC turbocharger carries a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date. Coverage applies to the original purchaser with dated proof of purchase. Contact SPOOLOGIC for return authorization before shipping the turbocharger for inspection. If inspection confirms a covered defect, SPOOLOGIC will repair or replace the turbocharger at its discretion. Damage from foreign-object debris, oil starvation, contaminated or restricted oil flow, extended oil-change intervals, over-boosting, over-fueling, improper installation or tuning, operation beyond the intended range, or use outside the listed application is excluded, along with cosmetic wear, coating discoloration, and normal heat-cycling marks. Customers are responsible for shipping both to SPOOLOGIC and back, whether the claim is approved or denied.
