The SPOOLOGIC Performance Turbo Cartridge SL-200-083 is a complete VSR-balanced turbocharger CHRA cartridge — the center housing rotating assembly with shaft, turbine wheel, compressor wheel, extreme duty journal bearings and spacer, 360° thrust bearing and collars, and a full set of seals — pre-assembled and dynamically balanced for 5.9L Cummins 24-Valve common rail (HE351CW, electronic wastegate VGT) applications. Uses the upgraded SPOOLOGIC SL-220-079 7+7 billet compressor wheel — CNC-machined from a solid billet aluminum forging for improved airflow, response, and durability under sustained boost over a cast OE wheel. Ships with the CHRA cartridge and one turbo install gasket kit covering the complete turbo assembly.

• Turbine shaft & wheel — balanced, high-nickel inconel turbine wheel welded to the shaft as a single rotating unit.
• Compressor wheel — SPOOLOGIC SL-220-079, 7+7 billet.
• Extreme duty journal bearings & bearing spacer — upgraded bearing material for improved thermal tolerance and longer service life.
• 360° thrust bearing & thrust collars — upgraded from OEM half-thrust design for better axial load capacity.
• Step gap seal rings — compressor and turbine side, replacing worn OE seals for tight oil control.
• Center housing — original SPOOLOGIC casting, machined and inspected before assembly.

VSR-Balanced as a Complete Assembly

Balancing a CHRA is not the same as balancing a bare wheel. This cartridge is dynamically balanced as a complete rotating assembly on a VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) balancer — the industry standard for verifying that the shaft, turbine wheel, compressor wheel, and bearing system all spin true together at operating speed. A wheel that reads balanced on a static bench can still fail a VSR check once assembled — and a CHRA that fails VSR will not leave our facility.
