The SPOOLOGIC SL-510-012 Heavy Duty 304SS High-Flow Bellowed Up-Pipe Kit replaces the original exhaust up-pipes on 2020–2026 Ford Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Powerstroke, including applicable standard-output and High Output engines. The kit combines 2-inch 304 stainless steel tubing, internally sleeved expansion bellows, and welded flange connections to carry exhaust from the manifolds to the turbocharger. Both pipes are supplied with new manifold gaskets, mounting studs, retaining nuts, and turbo-side clamps.
Features
- 2-inch 304 stainless steel tubing with a raw stainless finish
- Internally sleeved bellows accommodate thermal expansion and contraction
- TIG-welded pipe and flange construction
- Three-bolt manifold flanges and turbo-side V-band connections
- Passenger-side provisions for the factory exhaust backpressure sensor tube and exhaust gas temperature sensor
- Supplied gaskets, studs, nuts, and V-band clamps
⚠️ Fitment Notes
Fits the listed 2020–2026 Super Duty applications, including 2023–2026 standard-output and High Output 6.7L Powerstroke engines. Does not fit 2011–2019 trucks.
Bellowed Up-Pipe Design
Up-pipes carry exhaust from both exhaust manifolds to the turbocharger turbine inlet. Cracked tubing, damaged bellows, or leaking connections allow exhaust energy to escape before reaching the turbine, which can reduce boost and slow turbo response. The SPOOLOGIC bellowed design allows the pipes to expand and contract through repeated heat cycles while reducing stress on the connections. Replacing leaking up-pipes can restore lost performance; results depend on the condition of the original system and the rest of the engine.

Common Up-Pipe Leak Symptoms
- Dry black soot around the bellows, welds, or flange connections
- Ticking, hissing, or exhaust noise that becomes more noticeable under load
- Slower turbo response, reduced boost, or reduced pulling power
- Increased exhaust gas temperature under comparable operating conditions
These symptoms are reasons to inspect the exhaust system, not proof that the up-pipes are the only fault. Check the exhaust manifolds, turbocharger connections, exhaust backpressure sensor tube, charge-air boots, and intercooler before replacing parts.
Installation Notes
- Preparation: Work on a cold engine and disconnect both negative battery cables. Follow the applicable service procedure for access to the up-pipes; wheel-well access and removal of nearby exhaust components may be necessary.
- Inspection: Clean and inspect the manifold outlets and turbocharger inlet connections. Inspect the exhaust backpressure sensor tube, exhaust gas temperature sensor, and associated fittings before transfer.
- Assembly: Install the supplied studs, gaskets, pipes, nuts, and clamps. Start the connections loosely and align both pipes before final tightening. Do not use the clamps or fasteners to pull misaligned components into place.
- Final tightening: Follow the applicable torque specifications for the supplied hardware. Avoid twisting or overextending the bellows, and confirm clearance around sensor wiring, hoses, and surrounding components.
- Leak check: Reinstall the factory sensor connections and removed components according to the vehicle’s original configuration. Start the engine and check for exhaust leaks. After the first drive and a complete cool-down, inspect the connections for fresh soot and confirm clearance.
