The SPOOLOGIC Wastegate Control Solenoid — SL-260-005 replaces the turbo boost-control solenoid on the listed 7.3L Powerstroke applications. It controls the pressure signal used by the wastegate actuator.

Common Wastegate Control Fault Codes

• P1690: Wastegate control electrical fault on applicable F-Series calibrations.
• P1249: Wastegate control performance fault.

Code availability varies by model year and calibration. A stored code does not prove the component has failed.

Diagnose Before Replacing

Inspect the connector, wiring, and red and green control hoses. Check for restricted ports and verify that the actuator and wastegate lever move correctly before replacing the solenoid.
