SPOOLOGIC Turbo Vane Position Sensor Socket

The SPOOLOGIC SL-600-037 Turbo Vane Position Sensor Socket is designed for service of the vane position sensor on the listed 2004.5–2016 6.6L Duramax LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML, and LGH applications. It provides dedicated access to the sensor hex while accommodating the attached electrical lead.

Vane Position Sensor Service

A suitable sensor socket allows the hex to be engaged while accommodating the electrical lead. Using the correct tool helps avoid loading the connector or twisting the harness while loosening or tightening the sensor.

Installation Notes

Let the turbocharger cool. Seat the tool fully on the sensor hex and keep the wire free of tension. Use the sensor manufacturer’s tightening procedure; do not use the wire or connector to turn the sensor. Verify fit on modified or non-original turbochargers.

1-Year Limited Warranty

This SPOOLOGIC product is covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Obtain authorization before returning the product to SPOOLOGIC for inspection. If inspection confirms a defect in materials or workmanship, SPOOLOGIC will repair or replace the product at its discretion. Warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, contamination, water intrusion, electrical faults, incorrect wiring, physical damage, misuse, use outside the listed application, or cosmetic wear. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with warranty evaluation and repair or replacement. Labor, towing, downtime, and other costs outside the product itself are not covered.
