Common Holset HE351VE Failure Symptoms

If your 6.7L 24V Cummins turbo is showing any of these symptoms, a full rebuild is recommended:

• Variable vane geometry sticking or hanging — slow spool, lazy throttle response, soot buildup in the cartridge
• Excessive shaft play or oil seal leakage — blue smoke at idle, oil residue in the intercooler boots, end-play beyond OEM tolerance
• Bearing failure — whining, grinding, or whistling that scales with RPM
• Loss of boost and reduced power — turbo not building rated boost under load, derate codes, excess EGT

Advanced Rebuild Kit — Everything in One Box

This package supplies the rebuild components listed in What’s Included for the Holset HE351VE turbocharger.

Balancing Notes

This kit contains unassembled repair components. Compressor wheels and turbine shafts are individually balanced; balancing the completed rotating assembly is recommended best practice.
