The SPOOLOGIC Advanced Turbo Rebuild Kit SL-900-001-K04 is a bundled, complete rebuild package for 1994-1997 Ford F-250 F-350 OBS 7.3L Powerstroke; 1995-1997 Ford E-350 Econoline 7.3L Powerstroke Garrett TP38 applications. It combines a SPOOLOGIC base rebuild kit with a new billet compressor wheel, turbine shaft, so you have everything needed to restore the turbo to factory performance in one box.

Common Garrett TP38 Failure Symptoms

If your 7.3L Powerstroke turbo is showing any of these symptoms, a full rebuild is recommended:

• Wastegate actuator drift or stuck operation — overboost or underboost, inconsistent boost between runs
• Excessive shaft play or oil seal leakage — blue smoke at idle, oil residue in the intercooler piping, end-play beyond OEM tolerance
• Bearing failure — whining, grinding, or whistling that scales with RPM
• Loss of boost and reduced power — turbo not holding rated boost, sluggish acceleration, excess EGT
