The SPOOLOGIC Pro-Series V-Band Clamp SL-330-034 is the turbo inlet mouthpiece clamp for 2011-2016 Chevrolet Silverado GMC Sierra 2500 / 3500 6.6L Duramax LML and 2010.5-2016 Chevrolet Express GMC Savana 2500 / 3500 / 4500 6.6L Duramax LGH. Engineered to last a lifetime — stainless from band to latch, with no stamped or carbon-steel failure points.
Every Pro-Series clamp is built from corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel: a mandrel-formed 304SS band, floating V-segments, a heavy-gauge 304 stainless T-bolt, a flanged stainless lock nut, and a Pro-Series Stainless T-Bolt Latch with Quick-Release Action. The upgraded latch is the critical difference — OEM and budget aftermarket clamps use a thin-gauge stamped sheet-metal latch loop that tears under thermal cycling and clamp tension. That stamped loop is the #1 failure point on factory V-band clamps. The Pro-Series latch eliminates it.
Common V-Band Clamp Failure Symptoms
If your 6.6L Duramax truck is showing any of these symptoms, the factory or budget aftermarket clamp is most likely the cause:
- Latch loop tearing or stretching — the thin-gauge stamped sheet-metal loop on factory and budget clamps tears, lets the T-bolt slip, and the clamp loses tension
- Exhaust or boost leak at the V-band joint — ticking, hissing, or sooting around the clamp under load
- Clamp band stretching or warping from heat cycling — thin OEM bands lose clamping force over time
- Corroded T-bolt or seized nut — non-stainless OEM hardware rusts in place and breaks during service
Why the Pro-Series Latch Outlasts OEM
OEM and budget aftermarket V-band clamps cut cost on the smallest part of the clamp — the latch loop that the T-bolt hooks through. That single stamped sheet-metal loop carries the full clamping load and is the first thing to fail. The SPOOLOGIC Pro-Series latch is built from solid heavy-gauge stainless with quick-release action, designed to outlast the truck itself.

Backed by a Lifetime SPOOLOGIC Warranty
Every SPOOLOGIC Pro-Series V-Band Clamp is covered by a Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser. If SPOOLOGIC determines the clamp is defective in materials or workmanship, a replacement will be shipped at SPOOLOGIC's cost — no time limit, no questions. Warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, over-torquing, impact, use outside the listed fitment, or exhaust modifications that exceed the clamp's operating parameters.
