SPOOLOGIC Stage 1 Performance Turbocharger

The SPOOLOGIC SL-100-063 is a brand-new, direct-fit Stage 1 performance turbocharger for 2017–2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 3500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD 3500HD pickup trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax L5P. It also fits 2019–2023 Chevrolet Silverado 4500 5500 6500 medium-duty trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax L5D. It pairs a 64/84.9/91.5 mm 11-blade billet compressor with an upgraded 9-blade turbine, new VGT unison ring and vanes, and ceramic-coated hot-side components. The Stage 1 configuration provides additional airflow capacity for appropriately matched street and towing builds while retaining the B2BV-style variable-geometry mounting arrangement. It is designed to support approximately 600–625 rear-wheel horsepower with proper tuning, fueling, and supporting modifications.

SPOOLOGIC does not provide custom tuning services. Customers are responsible for arranging application-appropriate tuning with a qualified tuning provider.

Bearings, Seals, and Balancing

The SL-100-063 combines upgraded bearings with piston-ring seals and high-speed VSR balancing to support shaft stability, oil control, and consistent rotating-assembly operation.

VGT Control System

The listed L5P and L5D engines use an electronically controlled variable-geometry turbo system. The unison ring moves the turbine vanes to vary exhaust flow through the housing as engine load and speed change. A new unison ring and vanes are installed in this turbocharger. Factory-equipped VGT exhaust-brake operation is supported with the appropriate vehicle calibration.

Reuse a serviceable VGT actuator or obtain the correct replacement.

⚠️ After transferring or installing the VGT actuator, complete the applicable GM turbocharger learn procedure.

Coatings and Finish Options

The turbine housing and center-section exterior are ceramic coated to help manage radiant heat and resist oxidation. Heat reduction varies with operating conditions. The finish options below apply only to the compressor housing.

1-Year Limited Warranty

Every SPOOLOGIC turbocharger carries a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date. Coverage applies to the original purchaser with dated proof of purchase. Contact SPOOLOGIC for return authorization before shipping the turbocharger for inspection. If inspection confirms a covered defect, SPOOLOGIC will repair or replace the turbocharger at its discretion. Damage from foreign-object debris, oil starvation, contaminated or restricted oil flow, extended oil-change intervals, over-boosting, over-fueling, improper installation or tuning, operation beyond the intended range, or use outside the listed application is excluded, along with cosmetic wear, coating discoloration, and normal heat-cycling marks. Customers are responsible for shipping both to SPOOLOGIC and back, whether the claim is approved or denied.
