The SPOOLOGIC Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor SL-600-013 is a brand new, direct-replacement pressure sensor for 2008-2010 6.4L Powerstroke applications. It reads intake manifold pressure and sends that information to the powertrain control module so fueling, engine-load calculations, boost monitoring, and protective strategies are based on an accurate pressure signal. The factory-style connector and mounting design provide a direct installation with no programming or tuning required.

Why It Matters

A MAP sensor can become contaminated, electrically biased, or internally damaged over time. When the pressure signal is inaccurate, the engine computer may react as though the truck has a boost leak, airflow problem, or turbocharger fault even when the mechanical system is healthy. Replacing a verified failed sensor restores accurate manifold-pressure feedback and helps the engine respond correctly under idle, acceleration, towing, and loaded driving conditions.

Common MAP Sensor Fault Codes

  • P0236 — Turbocharger boost sensor range or performance fault
  • P0237 — Turbocharger boost sensor circuit low input
  • P0238 — Turbocharger boost sensor circuit high input

These codes can also be caused by damaged wiring, a poor connector connection, a restricted pressure port, or a leaking MAP hose where equipped. Inspect the complete circuit before replacing the sensor.

Common Symptoms of a Failing MAP Sensor

  • Check engine light or intermittent boost-pressure fault codes
  • Reduced power, hesitation, or inconsistent throttle response under load
  • Black smoke caused by inaccurate load and fueling information
  • Erratic boost readings or reduced-power operation
  • Poor fuel economy or drivability that changes with engine load

What’s Included

  • 1 brand new SPOOLOGIC Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor

Features

  • Direct replacement for the original manifold pressure sensor
  • Factory-style electrical connector and mounting configuration
  • Pre-tested for proper signal response before shipment
  • No programming, tuning, or wiring modification required
  • Backed by a 1-Year Limited Warranty

Install Notes

  • Confirm the pressure port or MAP hose is clear and free of soot, oil buildup, cracks, or restrictions before installation.
  • Inspect the connector terminals and wiring for corrosion, looseness, or damage that could create the same fault codes as a failed sensor.
  • Do not use picks, wire, or harsh solvents on the sensor pressure opening.

Electronic Component — Not Eligible for Return

Electronic sensors are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange after delivery. Defective parts and verified in-warranty failures remain covered by the 1-Year Limited Warranty below, subject to inspection and SPOOLOGIC’s discretion.

Fits 2008-2010 6.4L Powerstroke

  • 2008 – 2010 Ford F-250 / F-350 / F-450 / F-550 Super Duty 6.4L Powerstroke

1-Year Limited Warranty

Every SPOOLOGIC Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor is covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Warranty coverage requires that the sensor first be shipped back to SPOOLOGIC for inspection. If SPOOLOGIC determines the failure was caused by a defect in materials or workmanship, the sensor will be repaired or replaced at SPOOLOGIC’s discretion. Warranty does not cover contamination, water intrusion, physical damage, improper installation, damaged wiring or connectors, use outside the listed fitment, or cosmetic wear. Warranty does not cover labor, shipping, towing, downtime, or any other costs outside the sensor itself.
