The SPOOLOGIC SL-310-005 Exhaust Manifold Gasket Kit provides two gaskets for the exhaust manifold-to-cylinder-head connections on 1994–2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke applications. The set includes one gasket for each cylinder bank, making it suitable for servicing both exhaust manifolds during an exhaust leak repair or manifold replacement.

Exhaust Manifold Sealing

The exhaust manifolds collect exhaust gas from the cylinder heads and direct it toward the turbocharger through the up-pipes. A leak at a manifold-to-head joint can leave soot around the exhaust ports and produce a ticking or puffing sound. Inspect the sealing faces, manifold condition, and mounting hardware when diagnosing a leak.

A new gasket cannot correct a cracked manifold or a damaged sealing surface. Repair those conditions before reassembly.
